Beer Boards

Beer (back) boards are the poor cousin to the beer system - they are often neglected and not cleaned as frequently as the lines, if at all. The connections points on the boards are often overlooked, rarely cleaned and not checked for bacteria build up. You would be surprised how often the MODD boys find this to be the case!

When the board is not wiped down regularly, bacteria can very quickly develop. This can be caused by a simple spray of beer hitting the board during the changing of a keg or inserting a connection point into a snap lock that is under pressure, causing beer to spray or overflow. Fob overflow lines can leak, in some cases they are not connected properly to the overflow system, or at all. This can result in beer dripping on to the floor and causing contamination build up in the cool room over time.

Bacteria of this nature can easily be transmitted into your beer system if these parts are not cleaned and maintained regularly.

MODD’s quality end to end beer line cleaning and beer system maintenance program includes cleaning of all these areas of the system. It’s just what we do! Our aim is ensuring all aspects of your beer system are sanitized to prevent the potential of cross contamination, ensuring the consumers receive the beer just as the brewers intended.
